316L Surgical-Grade Stainless Steel with 18K Gold PVD: The core is 316L surgical steel, the same grade used for medical implants. Nickel is locked into the steel lattice rather than sitting loose on the surface, which is why it stays safe against sensitive skin. Over that core, 18K gold is applied by Physical Vapor Deposition, a process that bonds the gold molecularly rather than resting it on top the way standard electroplating does. That bond is what makes these pieces waterproof, sweat-resistant and tarnish-resistant through daily wear.

The Stones, Named Honestly

Freshwater Cultured Pearls: Real pearls, cultivated in freshwater mussels. Every pearl carries its own subtle variation in shape and lustre because it grew rather than being manufactured.

Natural Mother of Pearl: Genuine shell, cut and polished. The iridescence shifts as the light moves because it is a natural material, not a printed effect.

A5 Cubic Zirconia: A simulated diamond, and we call it that. High-grade CZ cut for maximum brilliance. It is not a natural diamond and we will never imply otherwise.

Chains & Necklaces

Check the individual product for its exact length and whether it includes an extender. Most pieces in this collection run 16 to 18 inches adjustable, which suits the majority of necklines.

To find your fit, measure a chain you already wear comfortably, or wrap a soft tape measure around your neck and add 2 to 4 inches depending on where you want the piece to sit.

16 inches sits close at the base of the neck, a choker or collar drape.
18 inches falls at the collarbone. The most versatile length and the one most of these pieces are built around.
20 inches drops just below the collarbone and layers cleanly over a higher chain.

Adjustable Extenders

Where a piece lists an adjustable range, it carries a built-in extender chain so you can move between lengths without buying a second necklace. Bold does not have to mean tight.

Layering

Statement pieces layer best with at least 2 inches between chains so each one reads clearly. A 16 inch and a 20 inch worn together give you separation without tangling.

Statement Jewelry: Your Questions, Answered

Is this real gold, and will it tarnish or fade?

Honest answer: this is not solid gold, and we will never tell you it is. Every piece is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with an 18K gold PVD finish, and that specification is deliberate.

PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. Instead of resting a thin layer of gold on top of the metal the way standard electroplating does, PVD bonds the gold molecularly into the surface. That is why it behaves completely differently from the fashion jewelry that fades on you.

These pieces are waterproof, sweat-resistant and tarnish-resistant. Wear them in the shower, at the gym, through a full workday. The finish is built to hold. It is also why a solid gold piece with this much visual scale would cost several thousand dollars, and this one does not.

I have sensitive skin. Will this turn my neck green or cause a rash?

This is the exact problem 316L was chosen to solve. It is the same steel grade used for surgical implants, and the reason it is safe on skin is structural rather than a coating claim.

In cheap brass and mystery alloys, nickel sits loose and leaches out when it meets sweat. That reaction is what turns skin green and triggers rashes. In 316L, nickel is locked inside the steel lattice and does not release in normal wear.

The result is a piece you can wear for twelve hours, through heat and sweat, without irritation. We describe it as hypoallergenic and nickel-safe, which is accurate. We will not claim it is allergy-proof for every person alive, because no material is.

Are the pearls real?

Some are, some are not, and every product page tells you which.

Several pieces use genuine freshwater pearls, cultured or natural. Each one carries slight variation in shape, surface and lustre because it grew rather than being made. Others use simulated pearls, manufactured for a consistent finish and a lower price. Both are listed by name in the specifications on the piece you are looking at.

The mother of pearl pieces use genuine natural mother of pearl, cut and polished from real shell. Where a piece uses a clear stone, it is A5 cubic zirconia and we label it as a simulated diamond.

We would rather tell you plainly than let you assume.

It looks huge. Is it going to be too heavy to wear all day?

Visual weight and physical weight are two different things, and this collection is engineered to separate them.

The oversized pieces use hollow-link architecture, meaning the scale you see on the outside is not solid metal throughout. You get the full sculptural drama without the pull on your neck that makes bold jewelry uncomfortable after an hour.

These are pieces designed to be worn all day, not carried through an evening and taken off with relief.

Will it fit me? Chokers are always too tight.
